Ultra Deep Solutions to order well intervention vessel in China

Ultra Deep Solutions has signed a letter of intent to build a SALT 310 Well Intervention vessel at China Merchant in Shenzhen.

The vessel will be capable of Well Intervention, Flex Lay and Rigid Pipe lay in 3000-meter water depths. The 3-in 1-Tower designed by Huisman is the first of it’s kind ever to be built, UDS said

The crane is Huisman built 600t to 1000 t which can work in depths of 3000 meters.

A 650 msw Hydrogen Saturation system will be installed on the vessel.

To complement the ship there will be 2 WROVs 250 HP built into hangars. The vessel comes with 2 Hydrogen refineries built into the design.

UDS, founded in 2014, has been active in the past weeks. It has recently secured a 5-year deal for its Van Gogh diving support construction vessel, and has also shared plans to build its first DSCV Energy Surplus Hybrid Diving vessel.
