USA: Hyperdynamics Names William O. Strange to its Board of Directors


Hyperdynamics Corporation  announced today the appointment of William O. “Bill” Strange to the Company’s Board of Directors.

Bill Strange is a retired audit partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He joined the international accounting firm in 1964 and became a partner in 1976, specializing in audits of SEC registrants for a variety of publicly traded energy clients in exploration and production, petrochemicals, pipelines and oil services.

“Bill Strange is an excellent addition to Hyperdynamics’ Board of Directors, bringing the benefit of his 41 years of public accounting experience in the areas of SEC audits and mergers and acquisitions for the energy industry,” said Robert A. Solberg, Hyperdynamics’ Chairman of the Board. “We expect Bill to make a strong contribution to our Audit Committee.”

Mr. Strange is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and lives in Houston. He has served as the President of the Petroleum Club of Houston and is a member of the Major Cases Committee of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
