Each Member spoke to the need of a strong carrier presence in the Navy’s fleet, and thanked the representatives of the industry for their dedication and hard work in building the aircraft carrier. Congressmen Wittman and Courtney also stressed the need for the ACIBC to take their message to all the Members of Congress to spread the message and educate other Representatives and Senators about the importance of shipbuilding.

The next Congressional Shipbuilding Caucus will be held April 18th, at the Gaylord Hotel during the Navy League’s Sea Air Space Exhibition.
