USG Energy Renamed to RedWave

As of August 1st, USG Energy, a company focused on providing personnel for drilling, production and engineering work, as well as providing medical services in exploration and exploitation of gas and oil reserves, will continue operations under the name RedWave.
The sale of USG Energy was announced by USG People on February 28th 2013. The sale was made official on March 28th, following approval by the NMa (Dutch Competition Authority). The company says that the move represents many new opportunities for RedWave, its employees and its customers. “We can now focus even more on providing services to the oil and gas industry,” said the company in a press release.
According to the release issued today the name RedWave represents “a wave of passion for the maritime world and the energy inherent in this dynamic sector. “

“The RedWave team has remained unchanged and remains resolute in providing the same service and energy that you have come to expect from us! Despite the new name RedWave, we will always be the specialised service provider that, since 1989, has been a market leader in staffing services for the performance of drilling, production, construction and maintenance activities, both onshore as well as offshore,” said the company in a statement.
