UTEC Names New Chief Operating Officer (USA)

UTEC has announced the appointment of Brendan Ryan as Chief Operating Officer, a key role within the global organization.

Brendan is the holder of a BAI in Engineering and a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin and a MBA from Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is also a Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers in Ireland and will be based in UTEC’s Houston office.

Brendan’s extensive experience has been gained through more than 30 years in the oil and gas services industry where he has held various roles including managing operations, sales strategy development, mergers and acquisitions as well as P & L responsibility.

Commenting on his appointment Brendan said: “UTEC has established itself as a reliable partner to clients in the offshore survey market. With an operating platform built around delivering quality survey services safely, it focuses on collaborative and innovative solutions to meet its client’s needs. I am extremely pleased to be part of this team.”
