Video: 2nd Mega Block of World Dream Floated Out

The video above shows the float-out of the second mega block of World Dream, a cruise ship being built for Asian cruise line Dream Cruises at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, on March 3.

World Dream, which is the second cruise ship being built for Genting Hong Kong’s Dream Cruises at the shipyard in Papenburg, is expected to be handed over to its owner in fall this year.

Once completed, the 21-deck World Dream will be able to accommodate over 3,300 guests and will have a length of 335.4 meters and a width of 37.9 meters.

The 151,300-gross ton World Dream will be a sister ship to Genting Dream, which was delivered to Dream Cruises in October 2016.

Designed for the Chinese market, World Dream will increase Dream Cruises’ fleet to two ships.
