VIDEO: Trafalgar Wharf Dredging in Full Swing

A maintenance dredging scheme at the Trafalgar Wharf area in Portsmouth is nearing its completion.

This dredging project started on July 4 and is expected to last around 4 weeks, according to the Queen’s Harbor Master Portsmouth.

The completion date will be weather dependent.

The works are being carried out by ML Dredging Ltd using the backhoe dredger “Witton II” with the spoil loaded onto self propelled split hopper barges “Split Two” and “Split Three”.

Disposal of dredged material is taking place at the Nab Spoil grounds.
