WorleyParsons Secures Contract Extension from Saudi Aramco

WorleyParsons has agreed to terms with Saudi Aramco which will see its current Maintain Potential Programme (MPP) contract extended for a further 2 years.

WorleyParsons Arabia has held this contract for the past eleven years and said this unprecedented 4th extension “is testament to the excellence and diligence of our MPP team.”

The contract covers an on-going portfolio of offshore green and brownfields projects and includes a full suite of engineering and project management services. The MPP team has to-date successfully carried out the project management, engineering, design, fabrication and installation supervision of more than 45 new platforms, the upgrade of 100 existing platforms, the installation of in excess of 180 kilometers of subsea pipelines and submarine cables and the hook-up of over 300 wells.

Commenting, WorleyParsons’ CEO Andrew Wood said: “We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with Saudi Aramco and to renew this contract for a further 2 years. The continued strong performance of our MPP team to deliver projects in a complex and challenging environment should be acknowledged as a major part of our success in achieving this extension.”
