Zamakona Eyes Growth Potential in Scandinavia

Spanish shipbuilder, Zamakona Yards and Dolven Maritime Agency (DMA) signed a commercial agreement last week, to promote the interests and services of the shipyard for repair and conversion of ships, offshore projects and fabrication of heavy structures.

Zamakona Eyes Growth Potential in Scandinavia

Under the agreement, Dolven Maritime, a Norwegian company mainly engaged in selling maintenance services to merchant fleets in Scandinavia, has been hired as a non exclusive entrusted agent to represent Zamakona’s services in Norway for two years (extended automatically year by year).

Mr Aage H. Dolven, DMA Managing Director said: “We are pleased to represent Zamakona Yards and as of today I´ll be full time on this project, busy calling and e-mailing potential clients every day.”

With this move Zamakona Yards expects to improve its presence in Norway and Scandinavian markets.

Zamakona has hired a representation agent for the Dutch market earlier this month, Atra Holland B.V., as it eyes further promotion of its portfolio across Europe.
