Construction, Deliveries in Full Swing at Jiangsu Hantong

A 82,000 DWT  bulk carrier (Yard numb. HT82-001), which is being built by Jiangsu New Hantong Heavy Industry (NHT), a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hantong Group, for JIMEI HUA returned to NHT on 2nd of September 2013 after 6 days of sea trials.

During the trial period it has been confirmed that the vessel meets all the prescribed standards of the owner and its class, since it passed all the conducted inspections and tests.

This vessel is classed by the Loyd’s Register.

In addition, the Group’s shipyard delivered the second bulk carrier with a deadweight of 57,000 tons ( HT57-117) built for Samsung on 29th, August, 2013. The vessel is to be classed by KR Classification Society.

Vice general manager, Gao Zhencheng and the representative of the shipowner hosted the delivery signing ceremony.

The shipowner voiced high appreciation to the ship-building company, praising their mutual cooperation.
