Macduff to Provide 47.5m Autoliner Design for Russian Pella Shipyard

In November 2011, Macduff concluded a contract with the Leningrad shipyard “Pella” to provide a complete Design & Drawing package for an advanced design 47.5m Autoliner.

Featuring a moon pool and a comprehensive processing deck the vessel will be the first of it’s class to be built in Russia, first of it’s class for a Russian owner and first large fishing vessel to be built by Pella – predominately a tug builder.

More than 10 years Pella Shipyard is the leading company in Russian tug building market. Tugs of PELLA’s new generation are successfully operating in all main Russian harbours. High quality and modern techniques of PELLA’s tugs were appreciated by customers from Norway, Italy and many other countries.
