Norway: Island Offshore, Statoil Sign Charter Deal for Island Vanguard AHTS

Island Offshore, a Norwegian shipping company that owns a modern fleet of advanced and high quality service vessels for the offshore oil industry, has signed an agreement with Statoil for a three month charter with the MV Island Vanguard AHTS.

The main duty for the vessel is anchor handling and associated work and the vessel commenced her charter 14th of January 2012.

The Island Vanguard has been designed as a large AHTS vessel with subsea installation and light construction vessel capabilities. The vessel meets the toughest requirements in the industry.
