Golden Energy Offshore Orders Two PSVs in China

China’s Rainbow Heavy Industries has received an order to build two Platform Supply Vessels for a client in Norway.

Under the agreement, the shipyard will deliver two PSVs of Ulstein’s PX 121 design to Golden Energy Offshore, a Norwegian provider of offshore support vessels.

Golden Energy Offshore will pay $57 million for the two 83,4 x 18,0m vessels. The company has an option to order two more vessels of the same type.

The vessels are expected to be delivered in the 3Q 2015 and 1Q 2016, respectively.
