UTEC Geomarine Makes New Management Appointments

UTEC Geomarine, part of UTEC Survey, an Acteon company, has made new management appointments.

Jim Edmunds, the company’s Technology Director, assumes responsibility for operational and technical project execution, as well as development of the company’s geotechnical contracting business. Jim has been with UTEC Geomarine since 2010 and brings 22 years of industry experience to UTEC Geomarine, and is based out of Bath.

Scott Gooding will now serve as General Manager for the consultancy services arm of the business. Scott will be responsible for the consultancy team based out of Newcastle. Scott has been with Geomarine since 2011 holding the position of Engineering Manager. Scott has 12 years’ experience in the industry and is a graduate of the University of Leicester.

In addition, Mike Fearn has joined the UTEC Geomarine team as Business Development Manager and will be based out of Aberdeen. Mike will be responsible for development of the company’s contracting and consultancy services, predominantly in Europe and Africa.
