Afai Shipyard Hosts Leaders of China Rescue & Salvage Bureau

On February 22, a group headed by Mr. Yang Xiaoren, the Deputy Director General of China Rescue & Salvage Bureau of Ministry of Transport visited Afai Southern shipyard to investigate, and inspected the shipbuilding work of coastal fast rescue vessel project under construction.

Mr. Yang inspected the workshops, quay etc. production site and was acquainted with the shipyard’s basic situation. Mr. Yang fully confirmed the shipyard’s work, put forward definite requirements to the shipbuilding of next phase, and hope that the shipyard sufficiently understand the bad environment where the rescue vessels will be applied, continue to attach much importance to the production’s quality.

Meanwhile, he was very interested in the new products being researched and developed by the shipyard, and expressed that would further develop wide cooperation.
