Afai Southern Workers Urged to Pay Attention to Safety

Overwhelmingly high temperatures prompted by a heat wave have struck the Guangzhou City in China. As a result, the Labor Union of China Shipping Industry Co., Ltd organized a mutual review of production work safety at two yards in Guangzhou, including Afai Southern Shipyard and supervised the implementation of various concrete protection measures to prevent and reduce high temperatures.

At the same time, the Labor Union organizations on three levels also developed sympathy activities under the motto“staff care and cool delivery in summer time”, as a way to look after all the staff advising them to pay more attention to preservation of their safety and health, and thus ensure safe production.

This included distribution of herbal tea packages to the workers at Afai Southern Shipyard, conducted by China Shipping Industry Co.,Ltd.
