AGR lands trio of software contracts

AGR will be delivering its software products P1™, CT™ and iQˣ™ to support operators’ activities on Norwegian Continental Shelf.

iQˣ™ is a new addition to the AGR software portfolio and has been developed to simplify the planning and execution of wells. The software utilises technical and operational public data from over 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. P1™ is a market-leading probabilistic planning tool for managing time and risk of well operations. Meanwhile, CT™ acts as a real-time cost tracker enabling operational managers to accurately track the financial status of their projects.

Petter Mathisen, Vice President of Software Solutions at AGR, said: “We are delighted to have landed these three significant contracts which are testament to the capabilities of our software products.

With the experience gathered from over 500 drilling projects globally we can deliver tried, tested and trusted software solutions that will provide real results for our clients.”

AGR’s iQˣ™ has been nominated for this year’s ONS Innovation Award. This prestigious award was established to recognise the fact that the future of the international oil, gas and energy industry depends increasingly on its ability to develop new technologies and solutions.
