Al Hamla LNG carrier on course to South Hook

The UK’s South Hook LNG terminal is scheduled to receive another cargo of Qatari liquefied natural gas. 

The Al Hamla liquefied natural gas tanker, with a capacity of 216,000 cubic metres is set to dock at South Hook LNG jetty on February 26, according to the port data.

This will be the second shipment delivered to the terminal in two days.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG annually, which is close to 20% of the natural gas needs of the UK.

Qatar Petroleum owns 67.5 percent of South Hook LNG, Exxon Mobil 24.15 percent and Total owns the rest.
