Aquaterra Energy's New Appointment Reinforces Its MENA Presence

Molloy has held previous roles as Middle East and Asia Region Director for an offshore services company, as well as Business Development and Leadership roles for an international oil and gas services group. Molloy’s technical background stems from a long career working in operational roles on well testing, subsea, wireline intervention and well services.
Molloy has spent the past ten years based in Dubai developing and managing business throughout the Middle East and Asia regions, and establishing service contracts with both national and international oil companies, and drilling contractors.
Having a presence on the ground means that Aquaterra Energy can offer its Middle Eastern clients direct access to its world class products and services, including its Conductor Supported Platforms, structures and advanced riser engineering services, from comprehensive riser analysis for subsea and surface riser systems, to structural design, testing and offshore installation. The company has a long and successful track record in delivery of offshore operations for international customers and this experience enables them to fully utilise offshore reservoirs efficiently, safely and cost effectively.
Aquaterra Energy also provides an extensive equipment supply and rental inventory, designed to enable rapid response to all of its clients’ needs. The inventory includes conductor whipstocks and conductor slot additions which are in high demand across the region. The availability of high specification, field proven shallow and deep-water equipment from stock, provides a cost effective solution for oil and gas companies needing to progress drilling programmes efficiently.
Patrick Phelan, Managing Director at Aquaterra Energy, said: “Steve’s exceptional experience in the Middle East, combined with his extensive industry knowledge, will be integral in growing Aquaterra Energy’s strengths in the market.”
