Australia: Poyry-Peritus Awarded Woodside’s Concept Definition Study for Lady Nora

Business & Finance

Peritus International Asia Pacific  announced that the Pöyry-Peritus partnership has been awarded the concept definition study for the Lady Nora Development in Western Australia.

The Lady Nora development, operated by Woodside Energy Ltd on behalf of the North West Shelf Venture (NWSV) is one of a number of hydrocarbon pools in the Greater Western Flank (GWF) area to the south west of the Goodwyn A Platform (GWA). The Lady Nora field is in a water depth of approximately 80 metres and is located approximately 35km from GWA.

The objective of the concept definition study is to further refine the technical definition, cost and schedule estimates and to prequalify Production Unit contractors. This is part of a program seeking to identify a viable oil development for Lady Nora.

Peritus will provide study management and subsea and marine engineering whilst Pöyry will be responsible for project services, topside facilities, flow assurance and process engineering.

“Peritus and our partner Pöyry are delighted to be given the opportunity to perform this work, which will provide another step in the growth of Peritus into becoming a significant provider of Field Development services to the offshore oil and gas industry” said Peritus’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Hindmarsh.
