BAE Systems Hawaii Awarded USS Chung Hoon Dry Docking Contract

BAE Systems Hawaii Shipyards, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $37.4 million contract for USS Chung Hoon (DDG 93) dry-docking selected restricted availability.

The availability will include maintenance and modernization efforts. This contract will complete the FY14 Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) on the USS Chung Hoon (DDG 93).

Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by August 2014.

Fiscal 2014 operation and maintenance, Navy funding in the amount of $10.9 million will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
