Bangladesh: Government Places Orders for Six New Dredgers

The Bangladesh’s leading shipyards recently have been awarded with contracts for the construction of six dredgers.

Details:

– Karnafuly Ship Builders Limited (KSBL) – 3 dredgers,

– Ananda Shipyard and Slipways Limited – 2 dredgers,

– Western Marine – 1 dredger.

Also, the officials have decided to procure 10 more dredgers for capital dredging projects on the country’s river channels and seaports.

This new government’s dredger procurement plan has opened a new chances for the local industry to boost their expertise in the new field.
