Bergen Arm Awarded Maintenance Work from Norwegian FLO

Bergen Group Services, a fully owned subsidiary of Bergen Group ASA, has been awarded frame agreements from the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (FLO) for a total of eight different disciplines related to maintenance of different Armed Forces’ vessels.

Bergen Group has signed four contracts which name Bergen as No. 1 provider of stipulated services.  All the framework contracts have a length of 2 years with an option for extension for another 1 +1 year. The contracts are expected to yield revenues of NOK 10-15 million in the first two years.

The framework contract with the Armed Forces is considered important to maintain a continuous development of expertise.

The contracts will initially be performed in Bergen, expanding subsequently to Hanøytangen at Askøy outside Bergen as the contract implementation gains momentum.

Earlier this year Bergen won a 4-year framework contract with the Armed Forces intended for maintenance and service work related to the Armed Forces MTU engines.
