BG, Halliburton, Shell Charter SOFF's PSV Trio

Norway’s owner of offshore support vessels Solstad Offshore (SOFF) has entered into contracts for three of the company’s Platform Supply vessels ( PSV) . The total value of the firm part of the contracts is approximately NOK 170 million (USD 29 million).

BG Norge, a subsidiary of UK’s gas giant BG Group has chartered “Normand Arctic” on a firm contract of two years, starting May 2013, with an option to extend the contract by 1 additional year.

Furthermore, Halliburton, a U.S.-based provider of oilfield services and products to upstream oil and gas customers worldwide, has chartered “Normand Skipper” vessel for well stimulation work, for a period of approximately 5 months. Halliburton has options to extend for further 5 months.

The third charted deal has been signed with Shell Norway. The oil company has hired “Normand Corona” for a period of 4 months. Shell has an option to extend for further 2 months. The contracts with Halliburton and Shell have already kicked off.
