Carimin to provide accommodation workboat to Petronas

Carimin Petroleum Berhad (CPB), a provider of offshore oil and gas support services in Malaysia, has received a work order award for the provision of an accommodation workboat to Petronas Carigali.

CPB said on Monday that the contract for the provision of an accommodation workboat was awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Carimin Marine Services on January 21, 2020.

The company added that the contract would be for a duration of up to 716 days from the start date as per the vessel’s on-hire certificate with no extension option.

The contract will not have any material effects on the net assets and gearing of CPB and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending June 30, 2020.
