China: CIC Changxing Shipyard Redelivers MV Xin BeiJing

Recently CIC Changxing Shipyard completed the repair works for vessel MV Xin BeiJing one day ahead of the schedule. The subject vessel, owned by a HongKong company, arrived at the shipyard on April 9th. The main repair items included the renewal of deck windlass brake liner, the LT cooler chemical cleaning, the exhaust boiler overhaul etc.

The vessel belongs to the fleet of China Shipping container liner and its repair period was quite tight. Meanwhile, the working staff worked overtime to clean 3 sets of LT coolers which had 260 pieces of cooling fins per set. Finally all the LT coolers were successfully assembled and passed the pressure test.
