China: CIC Changxing Shipyard Redelivers PCTC Falstaff

PCTC Falstaff arrived at CIC Changxing Shipyard at the end of Oct. 2012 and had her special survey for two weeks. Her main work scope was the regular docking survey, the maintenance of stern & side ramp and the main engine overhaul.

The PCTC (Pure Car Truck Carrier) M/V FALSTAFF has a capacity of 5 400 cars or a combination of 2 500 cars and 500 trucks. The vessel is built to the highest class of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.

Though the work volume of the subject vessel was not great, the yard tried their best to make good performance during the repair progress and to redeliver PCTC Falstaff on time.
