China - COSCO Shipyard Group Signs Delivery Documents for Four New Vessels

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited throughout its subsidiaries COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd have made the following deliveries:

COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co, close to the international sea route and navigation hub clusters in Asia, and it is a newly built shipyard with one DWT 150,000 dock and four piers in service, has delivered one bulk carrier of 92.500 DWT, “POS TUERKIS”, to its European buyer, and one bulk carrier of 57.000 DWT, “PORT DALIAN”, to its Asian buyer.

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co, as a high-class repair enterprise in the areas of south China the Shipyard is equipped with a Panama size DWT 80,000 floating dock, a DWT 150,000 dock, four repair berths, a deep quay of 1200m, and 200,000 m2 land area as well as many other facilities, has delivered a bulk carrier of 57.000 DWT, “RINIA”, to its European buyer.

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co, the largest shipyard in COSCO Shipyard Group with its existing fascilities can undertake more than 200 large-size ocean vessels’ repair and conversion annually and become the main base for ship repair conversion and offshore marine engineering manufacture in North-East Asia, has delivered a bulk carrier of 92.500 DWT, “OCEAN DIAMOND”, to its Asian buyer.

All the delivery documents were signed by and between the COSCO shipyards and the respective buyer in January 2012.

The bulk carriers of 92.500 DWT measure 229.2 meters in LOA (length of all), 38 meters in breadth and 20.7 meters in depth.

The bulk carriers of 57.000 DWT measure 189.99 meters in LOA (length of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth.
