Civmec wins more Prelude FLNG work

Australia-based Civmec said that its oil and gas division been awarded work on Shell’s Prelude FLNG project by Technip. 

Under the contract, Civmec will fabricate 17 subsea jumper spools and associated lifting equipment, the company informed in a statement on Thursday.

Civmec said it has already completed the fabrication and testing of subsea components for Prelude FLNG that consisted of  eight buckle triggers and four suction piles.

Earlier in October this year, the company was awarded a contract for the supply, fabrication, assembly, testing and delivery of eight 12” pipeline end terminations  and eight pig launchers and receivers totalling approximately 400 tonnes.
