Clipper has been involved in the Danish ferry business for more than 10 years. The sale of Danske Færger marks Clipper’s exit from the passenger ferry segment, further strengthening the company’s focus on bulk and ro-ro activities.

Danske Færger A/S is a professional and well operated company providing essential ferry connections across the country. We are certain that the company, under the ownership of Molslinjen A/S, will continue to be a vital and important player in the Danish infrastructure,” Morten Hvidtfeldt, Head of Corporate Finance, said.

The company expects the sale to be concluded soon.

Copenhagen-headquartered Clipper Group is primarily engaged in the dry bulk sector, operating a fleet of around 150 Handysize and Supramax vessels. In addition to bulk, the company has a complimentary business in the Ro-Ro segment on the Irish Sea.
