Cosco Hands Over Tanker, Salvage Vessel

Cosco Corporation’s two subsidiaries from China, Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard and Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard, have delivered two vessel, an oil tanker and a salvage lifting vessel, to their undisclosed buyers.

Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard has delivered an 111,000 dwt oil tanker ‘Font Lynx’ to an unnamed European buyer.

Data from Intertanko, shows that the vessel owner is Front Athena Inc and that Sea Team Management Pte is the operator of the tanker. The vessel is 252 meters long, 44 meters wide and 21 meters deep. Front Lynx is sailing under the flag of Marshall Islands and heading to South Korean Yeosu.

Separately, Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard has delivered a salvage lifting vessel ‘DE BO 2’ to its Asian owner, reported to be China Yantai Salvage. The gross tonnage of the ship is 18 702. The vessel measures 159.6 meters in LOA, 38.80 meters in breadth and 10.90 meters in depth and sails under Chinese flag.
