COSCON Keeps It Cool

The first batch of cool treatment reefer containers carried by China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCON) has safely arrived in Shanghai Port in the early morning of 29th July, the company said in a press release.

 
“It is the milestone that COSCON’s capability of providing cool treatment service,” COSCON said.

These reefer containers were loaded onboard MV YUEHE from Melbourne with Australian citrus. As explained by COSCON, to achieve the standard of Chinese Commodity Inspection, the temperature of each container is attentively measured and well reported at specified time during the whole voyage.

“The dedicated cool treatment teams composed of experts from Headquarter, POL, POD and port of transshipment, thorough operation procedure with contingency plan, professional technical support are foundation stones for COSCON to offer successful cool treatment service,” the company added.

COSCON intends to expand cool treatment service to more trade lanes soon thus meeting increasing demands from fresh fruit and vegetable importers.
