CSV Normand Cutter gets another year with Saipem

Norway’s Solstad Offshore has informed that Saipem has declared its option to extend the contract for the construction vessel (CSV) “Normand Cutter”.

The contract is extended with one year starting  from May 2015.

According to Solstad Offshore, this is the last of a total of three yearly options. The second option was declared in March 2014.

CSV Normand Cutter, owned by Solstad Offshore, was built in 2001 by Ulstein Verft.

The 127,5 m long vessel is equipped and fitted for operation in both shallow and deep water and continuous operation at sea for 40 days. Normand Cutter can accommodate a crew of 70.
