Saipem exercises option for Normand Cutter CSV

Italian oilfield services provider Saipem Ltd has declared their option to extend the contract for the construction vessel (CSV) “Normand Cutter” for another year, starting in May 2014.

This is the second of a total of three yearly options.

CSV Normand Cutter, owned by Solstad Offshore from Norway, was built in 2001 by Ulstein Verft.

The 127,5 m long vessel is equipped and fitted for operation in both shallow and deep water and continuous operation at sea for 40 days. ”Normand Cutter” can accommodate a crew of 70.
