DeepOcean to Continue Ghana Job for Tullow

DeepOcean Ghana Limited has secured charter extension for the vessel Rem Forza to work on Tullow Ghana TEN project, the company said on Friday.

The subsea construction vessel will provide accommodation support, commissioning support, and construction and survey support.

The first 6-months contract was signed in February last year. The scope of work was inspection, survey and subsea construction on the Tullow-operated deepwater Jubilee and TEN fields offshore Ghana, which included subsea tree and jumper installations in up to 2,000 meters water depth.

Rem Forza is 107.6 meters long and has accommodation capacity of a total of 120 pob.

The ship was built in 2008 and joined DeepOcean’s fleet in 2012. Same time last year, DeepOcean extended the charter with the Norwegian shipowner Rem Offshore for additional three years. Later that year, Rem Forza was sold to Maersk Supply Service.
