In a quarterly update on Wednesday, Woodside said that the contracts were awarded to oilfield services provider OneSubsea Australia and offshore driller Diamond Offshore.

“Julimar Phase 2 has progressed FEED activities and awarded key execute phase contracts to OneSubsea Australia Pty Ltd for the subsea hardware and Diamond Offshore General Company for drilling and rig services,” Woodside said.

The project will tieback the Julimar field to the existing Brunello subsea infrastructure connected to the Chevron-operated Wheatstone offshore platform.

Woodside did not disclose the value of the contracts.

It is worth reminding that Woodside also on Wednesday awarded four contracts for front-end engineering design activities for the proposed Scarborough project located offshore Australia.

The contracts were awarded to McDermott, Subsea Integration Alliance, Saipem, and Intecsea.
