DOF Subsea scoops set of new deals

Skandi Constructor

Subsea services provider DOF Subsea has been awarded various contracts in the Atlantic region.

DOF Subsea said on Friday that the contracts secured utilization of vessels and personnel in the subsea and inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) projects segment.

Namely, the company won contracts for decommissioning, vessel provision, and survey and positioning services.

The first deal is a contract for several decommissioning campaigns in the North Sea which secures utilization for the Skandi Neptune vessel into the third quarter of 2018

The company also won short-term contracts for the provision of vessel and ROV services using the Geosund and Skandi Constructor vessels during the second quarter of 2018 with potential for extensions.

The last deal won by DOF Subsea is a four-year global frame agreement for the provision of survey and positioning services on third-party vessels.

In related news, DOF Subsea’s parent company and majority owner with a 64.9 percent interest, DOF ASA, announced on Thursday that it won deals for the Skandi Foula, Skandi Rona, Skandi Feistein, and Skandi Saigon vessels as well as a deal with Nexen for the support of the COSLPioneer rig hook-up operations.
