EMAS picks Orange for communications transformation

EMAS, a global offshore contractor with a fleet of support and construction vessels, has chosen Orange Business Services to digitally transform its communications infrastructure.

In addition to renewing the network services agreement, Orange Business Services will deploy Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS). This provides EMAS with a fully-managed, cloud-based voice infrastructure that delivers efficient collaboration and improved productivity for their employees across 17 locations in seven countries, the company said in the press release.

EMAS’ users can now access existing and new collaboration services through a unified communications platform using an as-a-service model. In addition to cost optimization, flexibility and scalability, the service will also enhance the user experience substantially, EMAS added.

“As a global operation, it is vital for us to have a fully-connected and digitally-transformed workspace that enables mobility for employees and allows them to collaborate remotely and seamlessly. Beyond raising user productivity, the scalability of the UCaaS solution means it can evolve with our business and enhances our unified communications vision. We chose to partner with Orange Business Services because they can deliver quality global solutions for cloud-based collaboration,” said Alex Ang, General Manager of IT, EMAS.

“Businesses need more efficient and effective collaboration right across their organization. Unified Communications as a Service gives organizations the ability to collaborate across time zones, departments and cultures. By unifying voice, video, and data communications, EMAS employees can work together more effectively than ever before. The decision to continue working with us demonstrates their trust in Orange to deliver innovative communications solutions,” said Patrick Sim, Senior Vice President for Asia-Pacific, Orange Business Services.
