EMGS to Hold 3D EM Industry Forum in London (UK)

 

EMGS is holding a 3D EM Industry Forum in London on 16 and 17 November. The event is for decision exploration executives and key technical personnel, and will give participants an understanding of the principles of 3D EM, best practices and 3D EM applications throughout the E&P workflow.

The Forum consists of two separate “stand alone” events at the Ramada London Hyde Park Hotel.

Executive briefing: Value creation with 3D EM applications

*A brief review of 3D EM technology.

How 3D EM is creating value in a range of applications throughout the E&P process.

*Perspectives from end-users on the use of 3D EM to reduce drilling risk, and improve confidence in reserves estimates.

*The target audience for this event includes exploration executives & key technical personnel.

 Technical seminar: Emerging workflows for 3D EM projects

 17 November

*The principles of 3D EM measurements and best practices to execute a project.

*Survey design, modelling, acquisition, processing, inversion and interpretation.

*The target audience are geoscientists involved in, or considering, the use of 3D EM in frontier basins, de-risking of prospects (drill/drop), delineation of prospects, volume estimations and to target appraisals well.
