EMS to Provide Supplies and Services from Major NATO Country

EMS Seven Seas ASA today announced that the Company has been awarded a one year bridge contract from January 1st 2013 to provide supplies and services from a major NATO country. The customer is EMS’ largest customer and has been an important business partner to EMS Group since 1988.

The contract is for supplies of maintenance and repairs as well as construction materiel to the country’s military in the Central Asian States, Southern Caucasus, Middle East and Africa regions for 2013. The new contract replaces one of the two bridge contracts which the Company announced on June 18th 2012; the other bridge contract was replaced with a new 5 year contract commencing January 13th 2013 as announced September 19th 2012. The deliveries will be handled by EMS’ UAE subsidiary, Seven Seas Shipchandlers LLC.

Delivery under the new contract will start up in Q1 2013. The minimum contract award value is USD 0.5 million and the maximum value is set at USD 65.0 million.

The award of this contract is another important milestone for EMS and will help improve operational visibility and predictability.
