Axess said on Tuesday that the award was an extension to its existing frame agreement with Equinor, relating to competent control of cranes and lifting equipment on all their installations in Norway.

The company added that this contract followed on from the first frame agreement for competent control awarded in 2008.

Håvard Bjerkeli, project manager at Axess, said: “This strengthens Axess’ position as a leading player within the Enterprise of Competence for crane and lifting equipment.

“We continue to provide opportunities to further develop our expertise in consulting, inspection and integrity management, to assure the safety and integrity of our client’s equipment.”
