Havila Shipping said on Monday that the contract was for approximately four months for the Havila Borg.

The Havila Borg was built by Havyard Tomrefjord in 2009. The Havyard 832-design vessel is 78.6 meters long, 17.60 meters wide with a deadweight of 3,787 tonnes, and can accommodate 31 people.

The last time that Offshore Energy Today reported on the Havila Borg was in April 2018 when Total E&P UK hired the Havila Aurora and Havila Borg PSVs.

The contracts were for a period of three months and optional periods for up to 30 days for each vessel. The two deals were scheduled to begin in May 2018 with the Havila Borg being taken out of layup to serve the contract with Total.
