EWC Erects First Cold Box at Sengkang LNG

Energy World Corporation (EWC) said it has erected the first cold box at its Sengkang LNG site development in Keera, South Sulawesi.

EWC is also preparing to lift the second cold box into place.

Other significant infrastructure including the LNG gas processing equipment, 88.000M3 LNG tank foundations and assembly of the slipform equipments are also on the LNG site for installation.

Stewart W. G. Elliott, Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EWC, said that the completion of the tank foundations involving over 450 thirty metre deep re- enforced piles and the safe lifting into the position of this first LNG cold box weight 230 tons is a magnificent achievement for the company and the civil engineers and the whole site construction team in PT Slipform Engineering.
