FMC Technologies Delivers Another Tree for TEN Project

FMC Technologies has delivered eighth subsea tree for the Tullow Oil-led TEN Project offshore Ghana.

FMC Technologies is assembling and testing all subsea trees for the TEN Project at its recently expanded facility in Takoradi. A total of 22 subsea trees will be installed as part of the TEN Project – one for each well.

Mario Lagunes, FMC Technologies Ghana Country Manager, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for FMC Technologies and demonstrates our commitment to our customer’s success. A collaborative effort from our teams in assembly, projects, and inspection, saw this tree progress well through the build phase.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in achieving this milestone, pulling out all the stops to meet our deliveries while adhering to all of our core values including quality and safety.”

Since the Takoradi plant expansion in 2014, FMC Technologies has already delivered seven Tullow TEN trees, which are now deployed subsea in the TEN fields.

Tullow Oil’s TEN Project Director, Terry Huges, added: “We are pleased to see results like this from all our contractors involved in the TEN project and we look forward to working with FMC Technologies throughout the remainder of the TEN project. With first oil expected in mid-2016, milestones like this help us to stay on track with our ambitious schedule.”
