Focal Marine Wins Pair

Focal Marine & Offshore has won contracts to design a diving support vessel (DSV) and one emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV).

The first contract comes from a Middle East client and is for DP-2 ROV / diving support vessel of FOCAL 532 design with LOA of 90m, diesel electric propulsion, AHC crane of 100t SWL, and accommodation for 166 person.

Total 1,400 m2 working deck well covered by AHC crane and auxiliary crane provides ideal space for ROV / diving operations.

Another contract is for FOCAL 531 ERRV design for Sentinel Marine / Nam Cheong. The 62m vessel will be fully facilitated with rescue equipment to UKOOA requirement for North Sea operations.

The vessel is designed to ABS crew habitability notation of HAB (WB), and environment-friendly notation of ENVIRO.

Both designs comply with latest regulations including SPS 2008 and MLC 2006.
