The tanks will be installed onboard two new 173,400-cbm LNG carriers to be built by Daewoo’s shipyard in Geoje on behalf of an unnamed European shipowner, according to a GTT statement.

The LNG carriers are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2020.

The vessels’ LNG tanks will be fitted with the NO96 GW technology, GTT added.

The French company did not reveal the value of the deal.
