Gazprom M&T, Tasweeq Sign LPG Purchase Agreement, Qatar

Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore and Tasweeq have signed an agreement, under which, GM&T Singapore will purchase significant volumes of LPG from Tasweeq, Qatar’s International Petroleum Marketing Company Limited.

The deal was signed by Arthur Tait, President and Managing Director, GM&T Singapore and Saad Abdulla Al-Kuwari, the CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Tasweeq in the presence of Gazprom Marketing & Trading representatives from London and Singapore, members of the Gazprom Representative Office in Qatar, and officials from the Russian embassy in Doha.

Commenting on this deal, Arthur Tait said: “We are delighted to grow our LPG business with Tasweeq even further in 2013. Tasweeq is now becoming an important part of our LPG portfolio and we look forward to working more closely in the future.”
