Goodchild Marine to Repair Eastports’ Two Pilot Boats

Goodchild Marine-built two pilot boats for Great Yarmouth Port Authority (now Eastports Ltd.) are back at the yard for repairs.

Both boats, based on the AquaBell 33 hull, have been back to the yard for refits as Goodchild Marine has a maintenance contract to support the boats operationally.

Eastports decided to replace the deck on Pilot 2 and entrusted the task to Goodchild.

The wooden deck has now been removed along with the Cascover system that covered it and the original wooden deck beams and bulkheads are in remarkable condition requiring less attention than expected.
