GTT responds to Korean FTC inquiry rumors

France’s GTT, an engineering company specialized in LNG containment systems, responded to media reports on the possible investigation of its contracts with South Korean shipbuilders. 

According to the reports, South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission is revising GTT’s license deals with shipyards to assess whether the contracts oppose the fair trade act of South Korea.

However, in its statement issued on Thursday, GTT said it has not received any notification informing it of any inquiry by the Korean Fair Trade Commission into its commercial practices with shipyards.
