GTT said that the carriers would offer a capacity of 180,000 cbm for the first and 174,000 cbm for the second.

The two LNG carriers will be built in Hyundai Heavy Industries and Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries shipyards in Korea on behalf of two undisclosed ship-owners.

GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system has been selected to equip the tanks of the vessels, with scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

To remind, GTT also won a contract to provide tank design for four Maran Gas newbuilds earlier this month.
